Credo
My name is Richard Akindele. I am the founder of sayYES. The impetus came from my deep desire to graduate from merely lamenting about the problems plaguing Nigeria, to actually doing something about it. The uppermost echelon control all the money, the security apparatus, and all resources imaginable. They hug all the authority and power, and have left the masses struggling.
Countless solutions have been profered, and sayYES is one more, with the aim of empowering grass roots Nigerians one day at a time. Each Nigerian that sayYES empowers, pays it forward, via the creation of employment for others. The ripple effect would ultimately make a difference, even for you.
Time to stop talking, and start doing. All hands must be on deck to make a positive impact. Show your support today by
pledging a token ₦1/day.
While helping build Nigeria, you could simultaneously get lucky and be rewarded for it a millionfold.
What is my gain? Nothing. sayYES is a not-for-profit foundation (registration pending) conceived and anchored by me. It is a labour of love. Recipients get the full amount, without any deductions, except perhaps for bank transfer charges. In addition, I have so far paid for server hosting, coding, and all related charges out-of-pocket, as my personal contribution to the cause of improving Nigeria. All my time spent in the process is gratis.
As the principal controller, no member of my family, including myself is eligible to participate. However, goodwill donations are welcome and appreciated from anyone.
The poorest Nigerian can afford N1 per day. The poorest Nigerian diaspora can afford US$1 per year. That is how low-cost the footprint is for you. Thank you for being a member of this community effort to improve the lives of everyday Nigerians.
sayYES
Together we can build Nigeria, poor governance not withstanding.
70 years of crude oil drilling, nothing to show for it.
Bitter complaints by Nigerians fall on deaf ears, and poverty has only worsened year after year.
Nigeria in 2020 has the most number of poor people in the world. Not China, not India, that each has six times the population of Nigeria.
Perhaps even more disheartening, is the grim reality that there is no visible light at the end of the tunnel. The masses have just acquiesced, and accepted the status quo as their lot in life.
It's time to quit complaining, and start doing something about it.
sayYES is one answer to the country's perpetual poverty problems.
What are people with means doing about it? If that is you, we hope you can start by supporting sayYES. Join hands to lessen the undeserved pain and suffering of the forgotten Nigerian.
sayYES is a crowdfunding platform, with the express aim of empowering one Nigerian daily. Each beneficiary goes on to create direct and secondary jobs, and hopefully the domino effect would help reduce unemployment, which in turn improves security in the country.
